Cathay Pacific Airways honored as Red Hat Innovation Awards APAC Winner for 2017

Commended for the positive impact created in accelerating innovation through open source

Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced the 2017 winners of the Red Hat Innovation Awards APAC for Greater China. Cathay Pacific Airways (Cathay Pacific) was honored at the Red Hat Forum Hong Kong on 24 October for its outstanding and innovative use of Red Hat solutions.

Echoing the theme of the Red Hat Forum APAC 2017, “Impact of The Individual,” the Red Hat Innovation Awards APAC recognize and celebrate enterprises which use open source to address IT challenges, transform and modernize information technology to help accelerate innovation, and achieve greater agility and efficiency. All winners were evaluated by a panel of experts from Red Hat.
