Capgemini, Agile and secure software development in sensitive areas
Agile software development has been successfully implemented in a wide variety of areas for years. The transformation towards agile is often driven forward by young colleagues for whom dealing with cloud, innovation and agility is a matter of course. But if we look at particularly protected areas, the availability of such employees tends to decrease. Not every developer is willing or able to accept the appropriate security check, approval and any associated restrictions. Likewise, the need for innovation and transformation in sensitive areas such as security, sovereign tasks, energy supply and defense is immense.
The concept works according to the ""Dev Low / Run High"" principle - which means nothing other than that software is developed in areas with little or no regulation and then handed over to a secure operations team for operation in isolated areas.
This sounds obvious at first, but the devil is in the detail. The advantage of ""DEV Low"" is the easy use of agile tools and innovation based on public cloud infrastructures. This speeds up development while reducing costs. Release cycles are greatly reduced, which can increase the quality and innovation of the entire environment.
We resolve this balancing act with our concept of the ""Secure Software Factory".

Intel, OPEA-based retrieved augmented generation (RAG) on Intel Gaudi with OpenShift AI
This session will focus on the technical underpinnings of using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) in AI systems. It will cover how OPEA (Open Platform for Enterprise AI – opea.dev) provides a framework for AI building blocks, facilitating the integration of large language models with proprietary enterprise data. This session highlights the integration of RAG in Red Hat OpenShift AI, running on Intel's AI hardware, such as Gaudi AI accelerators and Xeon processors. Optional: Participants will gain insights into building scalable AI infrastructures that support RAG, enabling efficient model training, inferencing, and data security through Intel’s Trust Domain Extensions (TDX).

Introducing Image Mode for Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Image mode for Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a new deployment method that takes a container-native approach to deliver the OS from a container image. Image mode builds on the success of open source projects such as bootc, which manages the installation and updating of hosts in any part of the hybrid cloud, to create a deployment model that fits seamlessly into container-native workflows, reduces complexity and increases security and consistency. During the session, we will introduce the core concepts and building blocks of RHEL Image mode and use cases, and you will see it in action.

Liberating automation from isolation
In a large enterprise, if you are automating on your own, you might be doing it wrong. There. I said it. It's a difficult message to hear, because even in isolation, automation is obviously beneficial to the individual team that uses automation. But if you take a step back, and look at the bigger picture, automation can help you achieve great things, things that impact your whole organization. And if you are limiting the scope of automation to a single team, you are missing out on that. This is why, at Red Hat, we look at automation from a holistic perspective. We look at automation as a means to reach goals that go beyond the individual or the individual team, but instead extend across technology domains and actually support achieving business goals. During this session we will explore what a holistic perspective on automation means, and how to implement an automation strategy that benefits your whole organization, including your business.

AI for tech leadership
What are your expectations from AI? How can we create an environment where ideas, experiments, line of business (LOB), and operations collaborate to generate the best solutions for your business?
The goal of AI is not just to promote AI, but to drive innovation, efficiency, and collaboration. AI requires a platform that supports, drives, and enhances your AI-infused applications. This involves training your AI, refining your model to add value, and identifying the requirements. Platform overview, purpose, and value plan. How do you manage your AI lifecycle, including pipelines, training, tuning, and more?
LLMs (Large Language Models) are significant, not just as a trend. Whats next?
