With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, José Ángel de Bustos Pérez serves as a Senior Specialist Solution Architect at Red Hat. In this role, he collaborates closely with communities, clients, and partners to design and propose solutions that address the most complex market demands.
Throughout his professional career, he has held various positions at companies such as Dell Technologies (EMC), Morse, and Viewnext, where he led Linux platform migration projects, as well as the design of virtualization solutions for the financial and telecommunications sectors.
As a strong advocate for free and open-source software, José Ángel has actively participated in several Linux User Groups (LUGs) in Spain, organizing initiatives to promote the use of open technologies.
His passion for continuous learning led him to specialize in Artificial Intelligence with a Master's degree, and he actively shares his knowledge as a speaker at events and as a university lecturer, shaping new generations and will soon begin supervising master’s theses in Artificial Intelligence for a postgraduate program.
Passionate about continuous learning and embracing new challenges, José Ángel values the importance of disconnecting. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, and exploring new places by motorcycle or on off-road routes, always in search of landscapes and wildlife to photograph.
