RHSUMMIT-Reasons-to-watch-post-header-SPACE

It’s 2015, and this year Red Hat Summit is in Boston, a city as known for its crucial role in United States history, its formerly cursed baseball team, and, of course, a wonderful cream-filled, chocolate-covered doughnut--among many, many other things.

If you’re attending the conference with us, great--we can’t wait to see you there! But if you can't attend, you can still follow along at home, the office, or the beach.

Here are 5 reasons why you should join us remotely for Summit this year. Don’t forget to follow our social accounts:

Reason #1: Hear from the pros

This year we’ll interview storage experts covering Hadoop, Splunk, OpenStack, Gluster, and Ceph (of course!).

Here's are a recap of a few interviews from Red Hat Summit 2014:

Reason #2: Highlights

Last year we covered several keynotes and sessions:

Expect coverage of storage related sessions during the conference. Bonus: We’ll be sharing the slides straight from some of the presentations themselves!

Reason #3: Views

Last year, we had fun putting our partners on the spot:

This year you can expect more videos in the vein of our long-running Storage Hangout series, and we’ll be highlighting videos from our partners via our social channels.

Reason #4: News

You’ll get to learn all about Red Hat and partner news!

Yep, last year we announced that the RHEL 7 release candidate was due to be released via live tweets of a session lead by the product team. If you want live, on-the-spot details the best way to get them is to follow us today! We’ll be sharing or retweeting details of our announcements as soon as they go live.

Reason #5: We’re listening

If you’re going to join us at the Summit you’ll get a chance to meet with Red Hat employees directly. Great! But if you’re at home, you’re far from out of luck. If you have questions, want to learn more about something we covered, or just want to chat, this is your chance. We’ll be monitoring our Twitter and Facebook feeds regularly looking for any posts from you.

Talk with you soon!
