Hi, I'm Aheli! I joined Red Hat in 2026 as a PyTorch Engineering Intern, working on the compiler stack, GPU kernel profiling and upstream contributions in core/compile. I was also a European Summer of Code mentee in 2025 under the German Center for Open Source AI, contributing to sktime and pgmpy on causal AI for time series.
My research sits at the intersection of NLP and AI safety, with papers at AAAI'26 and ECIR'26. I also work actively on AI governance, because how we build AI matters just as much as what we build.
Outside of work, I paint, sing and spend more time on Letterboxd than I'd like to admit. Also a former inter-district swimmer, I like to think some habits stuck better than others :)
