Mark is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Red Hat, based in Waterford, Ireland. He works on the ROSA HCP platform, specializing in observability, monitoring, and the operational reliability of managed OpenShift services. His focus spans OCM Cluster Service, OSD Fleet Manager, ACM, HyperShift, OADP, and RHOAM — bringing deep expertise across the full managed services stack on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Mark is passionate about AI-augmented SRE tooling, and has built antigenic RAG systems and Claude-powered plugins that help engineering teams navigate complex operational workflows faster and more reliably. He is an active contributor to upstream open source projects and brings a strong engineering ethos to everything from incident response to platform architecture.
Outside of work, Mark is pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at SETU Waterford, exploring the intersection of large language models and platform engineering.
He is based in Waterford on Ireland's sunny south-east coast.
