Shekhar Berry is a engineering manager at Red Hat, leading the global performance and scale team for OpenShift Virtualization. Since joining Red Hat in 2015 as a performance and scale engineer, he has brought 18 years of deep infrastructure expertise to the organization. Shekhar’s technical background encompasses the entire storage and virtualization stack, including SAN, Ceph, ODF, and public cloud environments. Moving into management in 2023, he now collaborates closely with enterprise customers to translate complex scale challenges into structured engineering execution plans. Shekhar focuses on fostering a culture of technical excellence, mentoring global teams, and leveraging advanced AI tools to accelerate data-driven decision-making.
