We are pleased to announce the availability of Red Hat Satellite 6.13. This release includes many new and updated features, including an improved user interface/user experience and new features to simplify operation and administration.
- Updated UI - Refinements including:
- Selectable columns in host list - Add or remove host attributes from the columns in the host list menu, making it easier to view information you need
- Difference in errata between two versions of content view and packages - accurately determine what is being fixed so you can assess the risk of running older software
- Host details page improvements - view all the information available in older versions of Satellite’s host menu.
- New Ansible job report - view exactly what happened in an ansible job
- Installed packages report - find out what software packages are installed on a host
- Remote execution (REX) improvements - making it easier to manage hosts
- Pull mode support for offline/intermittently connected hosts - REX can ensure that hosts that go offline or are disconnected can receive jobs when they come back online
- Pull mode now supports running jobs as users other than root
- Ansible collection enhancement
- Satellite now supports content exports with an ansible playbook
- Alternate Content Sources improvement
- Enable capsules to synchronize with the Red Hat Content Delivery Network
