Telefónica Colombia achieves digital service innovation across IT operations

Colombian telecommunications company Telefónica transformed its application and service development with Red Hat technology to improve its critical mobile application, Mi Movistar, which has over 21 million users. Using Red Hat® OpenShift®, Red Hat Fuse, and Red Hat 3scale API Management, Telefónica was able to react to the urgent demand for totally digital service management due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In recognition of Telefónica Colombia's innovative approach to software innovation, Red Hat celebrates its use of open source concepts and technologies to assist their companies in becoming more competitive and providing a better future for their communities.
