Chris Thornton is part of Red Hat’s Open Source and AI Program Office, where he is responsible for telecom-focused communities, alliances, and organizations. He brings over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and 15 years in edge computing, having notably contributed to the formation of ETSI ISG MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing).
Chris combines strong business development acumen with a deep technical background. He is recognized as a Distinguished Architect by The Open Group and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting as well as an MSc in Information Security.
