Each year during Red Hat Summit, we recognize Red Hat Certified Professionals who make a difference in their organizations by demonstrating enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to their role and industry. We’re proud to announce that Jasper Wiegratz, DevOps Solution Architect at SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH, has been named the 2023 Red Hat Certified Professional of the Year.
Jasper Wiegratz is a DevOps Solution Architect who currently holds 17 Red Hat certifications, including two Red Hat Certified Architect designations. According to Jasper’s colleague, Sebastian Zoll, who is an IT Solutions Architect at SVA GmbH, "Jasper is one of the smartest and nicest guys I know, with a passion for driving IT projects forward quickly. He not only possesses the talent, but takes the time and care to share it among his colleagues."
Through Red Hat Training and Certification, Jasper gained valuable skills that have helped him collaborate with engineers across SVA and all over Germany to make their tasks more efficient and reliable. He plays a pivotal role in implementing a resilient solution that uses Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for SVA’s customers. “Red Hat Certification provides more than just memorization-based learning; it offers practical knowledge and best practices that can be utilized in our customer projects that involve Red Hat technologies,” said Wiegratz.
In addition to implementing reliable solutions using Red Hat OpenShift and supported by Red Hat Ansible, Jasper has sparked cultural change initiatives at SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH, a Red Hat partner, by leading inclusive communities of practice to close skills gaps related to Red Hat technology. “We integrate Red Hat Training and Certification into our development programs to help our employees become better engineers and consultants,” said Wiegratz. Jasper's commitment to excellence has created a positive impact within his organization and beyond.
For more than 20 years, the Red Hat Certification program has had a single goal: validating skills through a program with rigorous, hands-on and performance-based testing. Red Hat’s certifications can help system administrators, application developers and IT architects advance their careers and help close the skills gap facing the IT industry. Red Hat certifications establish benchmarks for what an IT professional should know when using Red Hat technology.
Congratulations to Jasper Wiegratz, who will be recognized this week during Red Hat Summit 2023!
