Women hold roughly a quarter of the jobs in the tech industry in the United States1. In this talk from Red Hat Summit 2016, Corinne Warnshuis shares how her nonprofit, Girl Develop It, works to close that gender gap by creating an accessible space for girls and women to learn to code by doing it.

Girl Develop It is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable judgment-free opportunities for women interested in learning web and software development. Through in-person classes and community support, Girl Develop It helps women of diverse backgrounds achieve their technology goals and build confidence in their careers and their everyday lives.
