We are excited to be returning to two important events this week – Gartner’s annual Application Architecture, Development and Integration Summit (AADI) and Business Process Management (BPM) Summit. We have enjoyed the conversations, camaraderie, and programs at these two events in the past and look forward to returning as a sponsor for both events.

First up is the Application Architecture, Development and Integration Summit, taking place Dec. 8-10 in Las Vegas. The event is a great place to catch up on the leading trends shaping the enterprise application ecosystem, and is geared toward helping application and development professionals understand the world around them so they can make informed decisions about their application strategies.

One of the areas we expect to see a lot of focus on this year is the notion of bimodal IT. Today, enterprises are adopting a bifurcated approach to IT, with one side being devoted to speed and agility and the other to stability. We are seeing this trend play out more and more in the industry and within our own customer base, driven in large part by technologies such as mobile and cloud. We look forward to sharing our own experiences in this and other areas, and hearing from our peers what they are experiencing as well. Look for us in booth 308—we’d love to see you there!

This year, Gartner is hosting its Business Process Management Summit in Las Vegas from Dec. 10-12, immediately following the AADI Summit. For Red Hat, this arrangement presents a unique opportunity to look at the challenges and opportunities facing professionals at different levels of the enterprise, and highlight not only the breadth of capabilities available in our JBoss Middleware portfolio, but also the marriage of our middleware and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technology, OpenShift, via JBoss xPaaS services.

In addition, attendees will be able to learn about FreeModeler, a free cloud-based process modeling tool launching soon that will be available to members of the JBoss Developer community. FreeModeler will allow users to import or create processes based on the BPMN2 standard, and then export and run those processes using a BPMN2-compliant process engine, such as Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite.

Stop by booth 313 during the Business Process Management Summit to learn more about Red Hat’s BPM technologies.
