At Red Hat, we believe that closing the technology skills gap is vitally important to the future of enterprise software and that the opportunity to do so should be available to all. Red Hat Academy bridges the gap between education and industry by collaborating with academic institutions around the world to provide the next generation of IT talent with free access to a range of Red Hat’s training courses and discounted certification exams.

With more than 90% of the Fortune 500 using Red Hat products and solutions, individuals with Red Hat skills and knowledge are highly desirable in the job market. Additionally, 93% of hiring managers report difficulty finding sufficient talent with open source skills, up from 87% two years ago. We’re also seeing a greater need to match students who are trained in Red Hat technologies with employers who are seeking open source talent. That’s why we created the Red Hat Academy Talent Network.

What is the Red Hat Academy Talent Network?

The Red Hat Academy Talent Network brings together Red Hat customers and partners in the search for enterprise-ready, entry-level talent. We help you find the candidates you need by creating a pool of talent who have the Red Hat skills and certifications needed to transform enterprises around the world.

Benefits for students

The Red Hat Academy Talent Network is for students who have completed Red Hat training courses through the Red Hat Academy program and are now ready to start a career and put their skills to work.

Students who join the Red Hat Academy Talent Network will have the opportunity to connect with employers from around the world. They can search job opportunities, chat with employers seeking open source talent and prepare to join the tech workforce, all from within a single portal.

Red Hat’s extensive partner and customer network spans the globe and includes some of the industry’s leading software vendors and IT organizations for those beginning their career. Students can upload their resumes and certifications on the portal, allowing them to showcase their Red Hat skills and leverage them when looking for employment.

Benefits for employers
