President and CEO, Paul Cormier, has been named #9 on Glassdoor’s list of Top 100 CEOs in the U.S. The most rewarding part of this accolade is that the ranking is based on associate CEO approval ratings gathered through Glassdoor’s online company review survey, which gathers current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture.
For the third year in a row, Red Hat was included on Fortune Magazine’s list of Best Workplaces for Millennials. This year we ranked #5 out of the 100 Best Large Workplaces for Millennials. To develop this ranking, Fortune worked with its research partner Great Place to Work to determine the best employers for those born between 1981 and 1997. To determine millennials’ workplace preferences, they analyzed feedback representing more than 4.9 million U.S. employees.
IDG’s Insider Pro and Computerworld Best Places to Work in IT list ranks the top 100 work environments for technology professionals in large, midsize and small organizations. Red Hat is proud to be recognized as number three among large organizations for 2021. The list is compiled each year based on comprehensive questionnaires regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training and retention.
Built In’s 100 Best Large Companies to Work For assesses the reported benefits, compensation and perks at technology companies across the country. Red Hat is recognized on the 2021 list for its leadership development programs, tuition reimbursement, performance bonuses and company equity.
For the second year, Red Hat has been named one of UK’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work, this year as #11 on the list for large companies. The list is compiled based on employee surveys and details about Red Hat’s company culture, hiring practices and retention rates. Red Hat’s open source philosophy and community-powered approach to innovation helped solidify our spot on the UK’s Best Workplaces for 2021.
Frost & Sullivan honored Red Hat with the 2020 Customer Value Leadership Award for best practices in the OSS and BSS Transformation industry. Frost & Sullivan’s research indicates that Red Hat is the preferred technology provider for transformative OSS and BSS deployments that have helped communication service providers (CSPs) successfully manage their evolution to customer-centric digital service providers (DSPs).
The Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI) is a comprehensive resource and benchmarking tool to measure corporate policies, practices and benefits for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) employees. Red Hat participated in the 2021 CEI survey and received a 95% rating for its workforce protections, inclusive benefits and culture, and corporate responsibility.
Congratulations to Red Hat’s Mark Enzweiler, Terri Hall, Ernest Jones and Steve Mungall for being recognized as part of the 2021 CRN Channel Chiefs. The annual Channel Chiefs list honors executives who lead effective partner programs and strategies to drive business innovation and channel growth. The selected executives have demonstrated a track record of channel accomplishments, standing in the industry and dedication to the partner community.
In addition, Mark Enzweiler was included in The 50 Most Influential list as part of the 2021 Channel Chiefs. This list honors an elite group of channel leaders who influence and drive the channel agenda and advocate for partners.
Red Hat has been awarded a 5-Star rating for the ninth consecutive year in the CRN 2021 Partner Program Guide. Each year the Partner Program Guide dives into the partner program offerings at more than 200 companies to help solution providers evaluate IT vendors. The 5-Star vendor rating is awarded to an elite selection of programs that offer key partnering elements for channel partners and solution providers.

This year, Red Hat Decision Manager took home the prize for Best Decision Management Solution, honoring its automated, scalable support for machine-learned predictive models.
As artificial intelligence continues to transform the ways companies build and deploy services, the Business Intelligence Group’s Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards honor those organizations, products and individuals who help bring AI to life in order to solve real world problems. Red Hat Process Automation was named a finalist in the Product category for its applied AI approach to automated decisioning and predictive analytics.
The DevOps Excellence Awards, hosted by Computing UK, recognize companies for innovative efforts in DevOps that make a real difference for customers, partners and the industry. This year, Red Hat Open Innovation Labs won the category for Best DevOps Consulting Firm and Red Hat overall was honored as the Most Innovative DevOps Vendor. Red Hat stood out to judges for its success in providing customers practical insight and problem-solving techniques through the Open Innovation Labs and DevOps innovation.
The Cloud Computing Awards celebrate the best platforms for cloud computing across the world. Red Hat OpenShift came out on top for 2020-2021 as Best Platform as a Service. OpenShift’s capabilities to support lifecycle management throughout the container stack on any cloud, as well as speed to deployment and Kubernetes-driven innovation, positioned the platform as the top performing in this category.
The DevOps Industry Awards celebrate companies and individuals for successfully incorporating and adopting innovative DevOps practices. Red Hat is pleased to be recognized as the Leading DevOps Vendor for 2020. The judges gave Red Hat top marks for our proven thought leadership and excellence in DevOps to support customers with high quality solutions and consulting services.
Over the past year, many organizations faced unexpected challenges due to the pandemic and new ways of working. The 2021 SD Times 100 recognizes leading technology companies for their innovative solutions that helped customers accelerate digital transformation and overcome IT roadblocks. Red Hat was honored in the Cloud Native “Best in Show” category alongside IBM for our suite of cloud native open source solutions.
With a 36-year history of honoring software, education, information, financial and media products for achieving excellence and innovation, the CODiE awards is the only peer-recognized competition in the education and technology industries. This year, Red Hat Integration came out on top as Best Integration Platform as a Service. Additionally, Quarkus was honored as a finalist in Best Emerging Technology.

The Stevie Awards, part of the American Business Awards, recognize the achievements and contributions of organizations and professionals worldwide across business, technology and services. Red Hat products were scored by more than 230 professionals worldwide in a three-month judging process and ultimately honored in three categories for 2021:

Red Hat Process Automation, Best Digital Process Automation Solutions (Silver);
Quarkus, Best Software Development Solution (Gold), jumping up two spots from Bronze in 2020.
