Red Hat among vendors that lead the pack: Forrester New Wave for enterprise container platform software
Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform has been named among vendors that "lead the pack" in The Forrester New WaveTM: Enterprise Container Platform Software Suites, Q4 2018 report. Red Hat customers that Forrester surveyed call out "[Red Hat's] ability to help them accelerate cloud-native application development and their pace of innovation."

Nominations open for the 2019 Women in Open Source Award
Red Hat created this award five years ago in hopes of shining a light on the contributions women make to open source. Each year brings more talented women to the forefront, encouraging the next generation to join the movement. Winners are selected in two categories: Academic and Community. Spread the word and nominate someone by November 12.

CRN - Red Hat Relying On Its Channel To Attack The Midmarket
At last week's Red Hat North America Partner Conference, Red Hat leaders emphasized to the company's channel that the midmarket—the fastest growing segment of Red Hat's business—was entirely theirs to win for the company. Red Hat does more than 70 percent of its business through the channel. But just about all the emerging opportunities with smaller customers are generated by partners.

Red Hat Satellite 6.4 is now generally available
Red Hat is pleased to announce the general availability of Red Hat Satellite 6.4. The latest release focuses on enhancements in the Satellite user interface and improved integrations with Ansible Automation.
