Red Hat Summit: Connect is coming up soon, kicking off in September in three North American cities:

Sept. 14-15  -  Brooklyn, New York
Sept. 27-28  -  Dallas, Texas
Sept. 28-29  -  San Francisco, California

If you're interested in joining us, your first step is to register for the event in the city that’s most convenient. (Each location features nearly the same agenda, so you won’t miss out by picking one over the other.) Once you’re saved your seat, check out all the offerings and activities to make the most of your in-person experience.

Why you should come

Whether you want to expand on what you learned at Red Hat Summit 2022 in May, compare notes with peers or get closer to the code, it's possible at Red Hat Summit: Connect. Take advantage of sessions, demos, instructor-led labs and self-paced labs that bring the future of hybrid cloud technology directly to you.

When you sign up to attend Red Hat Summit: Connect (at no cost!), you’ll gain access to all event offerings and activities, starting with a welcome reception the evening of day one. If welcome receptions aren’t your thing, consider attending our developer hackathon instead.

The morning of day two, we’ll start with breakfast and a live demo, then head into the day’s labs, sessions and interactive learning opportunities. Head over to our closing reception before you depart with your new knowledge, ideas and insights.

What you’ll learn: A sampling

Whatever your technology tastes, there’s a range of sessions, topics and solutions to explore, including:

  • Container development on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

  • Scaling Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform

  • Edge computing

  • Open source security

  • Microservices with Quarkus

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9

  • Architecting an open hybrid cloud environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift roadmap

  • …and more.

Bring your perspectives and questions with you — our sessions are meant to be a two-way conversation, offering direct access to Red Hatters, customers, partners, sponsors and industry peers who can help.

A hot-ticket item: Instructor-led labs

In our technical labs, you’ll get hands-on with industry-defining technology. Instructor-led labs are guided by Red Hat experts, who will take you through the topic at hand.

We should note that instructor-led labs are limited-seating sessions that require a separate sign-up. Once you’re registered for Red Hat Summit: Connect, add up to two of these to your agenda using the “add to schedule” button in the session catalog.

As a popular event offering, instructor-led events fill up fast, so don’t wait. We'll talk more about labs in an upcoming blog post.

If you need help convincing your boss…

There’s no fee to participate in a Red Hat Summit: Connect program, but we know there are other costs associated with attending an in-person event, such as travel and lodging. If you need help making a case for the investment, we’ve prepared a justification letter you can use. Once you fill it out with the details specific to you, send it along to your manager (or the necessary party) for approval.

See you in September!

If you’re ready, save your seat for Red Hat Summit: Connect today. We hope to see you there.
