In February, four designers from the Creative Strategy and Design team had the privilege to talk with the design students from our alma mater, East Carolina University. We spoke about Red Hat, the work we do, open design principles, the "real world", and what we’ve learned since graduating college. The main themes of the day were to always believe in yourself, collaboration is paramount, trust in your education, don’t sell yourself short, always allow for room to grow your skills, and find out what you are good at and go after it.
We shared a variety of our work and we're proud to represent open design at Red Hat.
