In case you missed it, we recently shared the details about this year’s Red Hat Summit: Connect, kicking off in September in three North American cities:

Sept. 14-15  -  Brooklyn, New York
Sept. 27-28  -  Dallas, Texas
Sept. 28-29  -  San Francisco, California

As promised, we’re breaking down one of the most popular offerings at Red Hat Summit: Connect events—self-paced and instructor-led labs. If, by the end, we haven’t convinced you to register—well, let’s just assume we will.

Two types of labs

Our self-paced and instructor-led labs are your opportunity to get hands-on with our technology, and allow you to learn the way you like. Experiment with Red Hat products at your own pace through self-paced labs, which you’ll find at any Red Hat kiosk throughout the event.

If you prefer a more structured environment, carve out time in your schedule for up to two instructor-led labs*, powered by Intel, where Red Hat experts will guide you through the topic at hand. You'll even receive a custom certificate of completion for each instructor-led lab you attend.

* Note that instructor-led labs are limited-seating sessions that require a separate sign-up. Details on how to register are at the end of this post.

Lab sessions and topics

Labs will cover a variety of technology topics that are top of mind as we look to the future of open source and hybrid cloud innovation.

Instructor-led labs (choose up to two):

  • The definitive Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 hands-on lab

  • Ansible automation controller for advanced users

  • Using Red Hat Cloud Services to rapidly deliver cloud-native applications

  • Create your apps the cloud-native way with OpenShift developer tools

BYOD* self-paced labs (choose as many as you’d like):

  • Intermediate Red Hat Enterprise Linux: Building a standard operating environment (SOE) with system roles

  • Beginner Ansible: Writing your first Ansible Playbook

  • Beginner developer: Get started with containers

  • Beginner OpenShift: Getting started with OpenShift for developers

  • …and more.

* Bring Your Own Device

Choose your city. Save your seat.

Take advantage of interactive learning opportunities that bring the future of open technology directly to you at Red Hat Summit: Connect.

Here’s what to do next:

We hope to see you soon (and in real life!) at Red Hat Summit: Connect.
