Event logos
Every year, Red Hat hosts and attends hundreds of events around the world. Events are an opportunity to communicate our technology vision and connect with customers, partners, analysts, and our community. To connect the audience's event experience to their Red Hat® customer journey, we always lead with the Red Hat brand.
Red Hat Summit
Red Hat Summit is our annual customer event, where we share new products, technologies, and programs with thousands of IT professionals. As our largest event of the year, Red Hat Summit has its own logo and visual theme. The event theme evolves each year, but the logo remains the same.
Red Hat Summit logo
The Red Hat Summit logo is based on the shape of a navigational marker, representing the event's role as a place for customers, partners, and the community to come together in the spirit of innovative discovery.
Clear space
Clear space is the area around the logo that should not have text, distracting graphics, or other logos. The clear space should be at least the height of the letter 'S' in the word ‘Summit,’ all the way around the logo.
Logo color versions
Use the full color logo—with a red background and white text—whenever possible. For applications with color or production constraints, use a one-color version in red, black, or white.
Using the Red Hat Summit logo and Red Hat logo together
To connect the audience's experience back to our brand, Red Hat Summit graphics should strike a balance between the annual Summit theme and the Red Hat brand. When using the Red Hat Summit logo, make sure that the Red Hat logo is always visible somewhere nearby.
For promotional materials and swag, this usually means including both logos in the same composition. For on-site graphics, use both logos sparingly and in high-impact locations to avoid overwhelming the viewer with logos.
When the logos appear together in the same imprint area, like on a piece of swag, make sure that the spacing between them is appropriate: at least the height of the ‘S’ in the word ‘Summit.’
To create visual balance between the two logos while maintaining legibility, the width of the Red Hat logo should be no smaller than the width of the word 'Red Hat' in the Red Hat Summit logo, and no larger than the overall width of the Summit logo.
Always use the Red Hat Summit logo as provided.
Do not add shadows, gradients, or any other effects to the logo.
Use the one-color Summit logo in the color options provided.
Do not modify the colors in the logo. Use the one-color logo that looks best on the background.
When using both logos in the same imprint area, use enough clear space.
Avoid placing the Red Hat logo too close to the Summit logo.
The full Red Hat logo should always be visible somewhere near the Summit logo.
Do not use the Summit logo without the Red Hat logo visible nearby.
Red Hat Summit: Connect
Red Hat Summit: Connect takes the Red Hat Summit experience around the globe to meet our customers and partners where they are. We use a custom lockup of the Red Hat Summit logo with the word Connect to identify the event.
Be sure to follow the same clear space and sizing guidelines at the Red Hat Summit logo.
AnsibleFest
AnsibleFest is an annual event, co-located with Red Hat Summit, that focuses on Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform. AnsibleFest use a custom logo built using our Red Hat Display font.
AnsibleFest logo
When applying the AnisbleFest logo, make sure a Red Hat logo is always visible and that we don't include so many logos that it distracts from the attendee experience.
Clear space
Clear space should be at least the height of the letter 'e' in ‘Fest’ all the way around the logo.
Color versions
The AnsibleFest logo should only be used in red, black, or white.
Always use the AnsibleFest logo as provided.
Don’t add icons, like the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform icon, or the Ansible community icon to the AnsibleFest logo.
Use the AnsibeFest logo in black, white, or red.
Don’t use the AnsibleFest logo in other colors.
Type out AnsibleFest when referring to the event in body copy.
Don’t use (or try to replicate) the logo in body copy.
Keep the proportions and original shape of the provided logo.

Using the Red Hat Summit and AnsibleFest logos together
As co-located events, the Red Hat Summit logo and AnsibleFest logo are often used together. The placement and size of the logos depends on the specific application, but there are some basic minimum requirements.
To make using the logos together as easy as possible, we created a lockup that meets these minimum requirements.
When stacked, the AnibleFest logo should be below the Red Hat Summit logo, with spacing at least the height of the 'S' in the word 'Summit.'
When paired side-by-side, the AnsibleFest logo should be to the right of the Red Hat logo, with spacing at least the height of the 'S' in the word 'Summit.'
Provide enough clear space between the Red Hat Summit and AnsibleFest logos.
Don’t crowd the logos.
Include the Red Hat logo somewhere nearby.
Do not use the Red Hat Summit and AnsibleFest logos without the Red Hat logo visible nearby.
Other Red Hat events
External events
Outside of Red Hat Summit, we host several large, externally visible events like Ansible Automates, Modern Application Development Roadshow, and TechTalks. These events do not use a custom logo. Instead, we use the Red Hat logo and type out the name of the event in our font.
Internal events
We also host internal events, like celebrations or workshops. Internal events are for Red Hatters, not our customers or community members. Most internal events don't need a logo of any kind and should use the Red Hat logo with the name of the event typed out in our font. If an event needs a logo image, request a universal logo.
In most cases, internal events should just type of the title of the event in our font.
Sometimes we create branded swag for internal events. Because swag is always considered external-facing, it should always include the Red Hat logo and follow the Red Hat brand.
If a logo image is needed, internal events can request a universal logo. Do not create a custom logo for an internal event.
