Red Hat® Lightspeed (formerly Red Hat Insights) for automation gives you full visibility into the Red Hat Ansible® Automation Platform infrastructure running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Red Hat OpenShift® Container Platform. Ansible Automation Platform administrators and operations teams can proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they affect automation performance. Improve automation infrastructure resilience and increase operational efficiency using actionable, predictive insights. 

With Red Hat Lightspeed, you can monitor your automation infrastructure, including the health status and configuration of systems, view security vulnerabilities, and pinpoint performance issues. Red Hat Lightspeed analyzes Red Hat platforms and applications and can trigger events through its notifications service. It can also act as an event source for incidents or changes within Red Hat Enterprise Linux®, Red Hat OpenShift, or the Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console. Using Event-Driven Ansible with Red Hat Lightspeed you can:

  • Respond proactively to events such as Red Hat OpenShift cluster security, lifecycle, or capacity notifications.
  • Use system logs (systemd) and system events to rectify Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) violations.
  • Make adjustments based on public Red Hat Enterprise Linux cloud usage to help you optimize resources.
