RHCE of the Year Grant
Application Information and Instructions
To be eligible for the Red Hat RHCE of the Year Grant, you must be RHCE Certified and at least 21 years of age, a legal resident of the countries listed below and have all required passports and visas to travel to the U.S.
Complete and submit the Red Hat RHCE of the Year Grant Application and statement of why you should be considered RHCE of the Year by March 30, 2007.
The Grant may only be applied towards the cost of the registration fee to the Red Hat Summit May 9-11, 2007 in San Diego, California USA, three nights accommodations at the official Summit hotel, sessions, all conference meals and special events, and round trip coach airline tickets to San Diego. Individuals receiving the Grant will be responsible for any other expenses including cost to obtain a passport and visa to travel to the United States and any other expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of the receipient of the Grant.
Three applicants will be selected to receive the RHCE of the Year Grant. The Grant is only available to legal residents of the following countries: United States, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France and Spain.
Red Hat will notify the recipient of the Grant by email and by telephone by April 6, 2007. Each recipient will be required to sign an Affidavit of Acceptance and Release form prior to receiving the Grant as well as a signed statement from recipient's employer (if not self-employed) affirming employer's consent to the receipt of the Grant.
Red Hat will in its sole discretion determine the eligbility for selecting the Grant receipients.
