Technical preview
Ansible Lightspeed with IBM watsonx Code Assistant
At Red Hat® Summit 2023, we announced the technical preview of Ansible® Lightspeed with IBM watsonx Code Assistant. The preview is now publicly available to all Ansible users, and you can explore the technology, further train our model, and offer feedback on your experience.
What is it? And what comes next?
Ansible Lightspeed with IBM watsonx Code Assistant is a generative AI service that helps developers create Ansible content more efficiently. It reads plain English entered by a user, and then it interacts with IBM watsonx foundation models to generate code recommendations for automation tasks that are then used to create Ansible Playbooks.
The technical preview of the service is free to Ansible users and now available via the Ansible extension for Visual Studio Code. An active GitHub account is required to access the service.
A full commercial version of Ansible Lightspeed with additional features and functionality is in development. Sign up to get updates.
